For many international industrial projects, location is also a funding strategy. A Portuguese industrial presence may create access to national incentives, European programmes, collaborative defense instruments, regional funds, bank financing and insurance-backed solutions, subject to eligibility and formal approval.
IPG helps companies understand what may be possible, what must be structured, what requires a Portuguese or EU-eligible vehicle, and where LDG can coordinate or submit eligible applications on behalf of the project or as part of a wider consortium.
IPG does not promise automatic access to grants, loans, public contracts or EU funds. Every funding programme is assessed case by case, with specialised advisors and according to the rules of each programme.
For non-EU companies, IPG can help assess whether a Portuguese industrial presence, local substance, eligible corporate structure, LDG-led submission, consortium participation or Portuguese/EU operating circuit may create access to relevant programmes. Eligibility, control, ownership, security, export-control and governance requirements must always be analysed in detail.
