Industrial Portugal Gateway is a private industrial landing platform promoted by LDG for defense, dual-use and advanced manufacturing companies that want to establish, expand or accelerate productive capacity in Portugal.

IPG connects territory, ecosystem partners, legal and regulatory structuring, construction coordination, funding readiness, PMO, communications and post-launch support through one coordinated entry point.

WHY THIS MATTERS NOW

Europe is rebuilding industrial resilience. Defense supply chains are being reconfigured. Strategic technologies need secure, scalable and compliant production capacity inside trusted jurisdictions. For international companies, the question is no longer whether Europe matters. The question is where to build the next European industrial extension with speed, credibility and control.

Portugal offers a rare combination: EU market access, eurozone stability, NATO alignment, Atlantic geography, competitive costs, qualified talent, renewable energy momentum and a global Portuguese-speaking bridge. IPG transforms this country advantage into an actionable strategy.

WHAT IPG DOES

IPG is not a directory of contacts. It is a coordinated circuit from intention to industrial presence.

THE IPG CIRCUIT

One entry point. Multiple execution layers. One clear path to Portugal.

LDG coordinates the circuit.
IPG Companies keep their identity, technology and commercial strategy.
The platform reduces friction by aligning the partners and workstreams that normally remain fragmented.

PORTUGAL ADVANTAGE

Portugal is a European industrial base with Atlantic projection. For defense and technology companies, it can offer the combination that boardrooms care about: trusted jurisdiction, EU access, NATO umbrella, cost competitiveness, talent, infrastructure and global reach.

BUSINESS MODEL TEASER

IPG’s preferred model is long-term alignment

In selected projects, LDG/IPG may negotiate a small minority participation in the Portuguese industrial operation in exchange for platform access, territory activation, structuring, partner coordination, PMO and post-launch support. Each project is negotiated case by case, and alternative commercial structures may be considered when aligned with both parties.

Your European industrial extension should not start with a maze of contacts. It should start with one coordinated conversation.
